Gyms were closed in Arizona for over two months due to COVID-19, which forced some studio owners to think outside the box, in order to continue providing services to members wanting to train at home….and voila’! Virtual group training was born.
While some businesses have resumed their operations, many people have adjusted to a new way of working from home in a virtual environment, and aren’t convinced of their need to go back to the gym.
Virtual training provides a convenient way for you to reach your health goals with limited resources. You can workout from anywhere as long as you have access to our zoom link and a pair of dumbbells (or household items!). Here are four key benefits to virtual training from home:

The first benefit is how convenient it is to train from home! These virtual classes are built to fit conveniently into your day to day schedule. We understand things come up whether it’s with family, work, school, etc. and that’s why we still want you to be able to achieve what you’re working towards. Within two minutes you change out of your pajamas and be ready to go for a workout with your favorite trainer! Here’s the link to try one out!
Because you are able to utilize the convenience of our virtual platform, we are able to coach you directly! We use zoom to Live Stream the class so that way you, as the member, are able to see the demos and ask questions if needed. On the other end, our coaches are able to accurately correct, cue, and guide a class of anywhere from three to 20 people. Your coach will know you by name, understand your injuries and ability levels, and be able to give you the coaching you need to exercise safely and effectively, for a fraction of the cost of what you would pay a personal trainer for in-person coaching.
TriFit Wellness, our goal is to help as many people as possible get fit, so we also offer virtual training to companies and their employees, for about the cost of a basic gym membership. Our trainers are able to reach bigger groups of people and coach them all through a single workout. By seeing them all in one space, effective coaching is still delivered and results are still received by our members. These live classes will definitely save you time. Community and Support
One of the core values at Trifit, is being kind and helping others. This means making sure that all of the members are known and supported during this time. By forming personal connections with the trainer as well as other people in your LIVE class, you are able to build a sense of community when many people feel isolated. Not to mention it makes working out and sweating a little more enjoyable!
Your social and emotional health DO have an impact on your physical health as well.
At a time like this, there are multiple factors contributing to that feeling of isolation and lack of connectedness. That is why taking advantage of this sense of community is so crucial to not only getting your 30 minute workout in, but keeping yourself sane and connected to those around you.
As a way to give back to our community we encouraged referrals and offered free LIVE classes to anyone who wanted to try it out!
