Healthy Holiday Snacks

Finding healthy snacks during the holiday season may seem inconvenient because of all the readily available food at work, home, or holiday gatherings. We got you covered! Here are 5 satisfying and yummy snacks that you can make in minutes! Each recipe has a balance between carbs, protein, and fat so you are satisfied and won’t feel hungry after.

  • Monkey Toast

Ingredients:

    1. Dave’s killer Powerseed Bread
    2. 1 tbs Plain Almond butter 
    3. ½ banana sliced
    4. Sprinkle with chia seeds

Directions:

Use a couple slices of bread and spread 1 tablespoon of almond butter on top. Then add slices of banana and chia seeds!

  • Strawberries and Whip

Ingredients:

    1. 1 cup sliced strawberries
    2. 2 tbs. Light Coco whip 
    3. 1 tbs. dark chocolate chips
    4. 1 tbs. Crushed toasted pecans

Directions:

Slice 1 cup strawberries and place in a bowl. Add some coco whip, dark chocolate chips, and crushed toasted pecans on top!

  • Pumpkin Protein Shake

Ingredients:

    1. 1 scoop Arbonne Vegan Pumpkin Spice Protein
    2. 1 cup almond milk
    3. 1 tbs Almond butter
    4. ½ banana
    5. ½ cup ice

Directions:

Add all ingredients above into a blender. Then blend until smooth and creamy!

  • “Sugared Pecans”

Ingredients:

    1. 1-2 tbs Coconut oil
    2. Salt
    3. Monk fruit sugar
    4. Cinnamon 
    5. Toast in the oven at 220 degrees for 45 minutes (turning occasionally)

Toss pecans in coconut oil and sprinkle with salt, monk fruit sugar, and cinnamon. Then toast in the oven at 220 degrees for 45 minutes while turning occasionally.

  • Chocolate Covered Banana Bites

    1. ½ cup dark chocolate chips
    2. 1 tbs coconut oil
    3. 1 tbs chopped walnuts
    4. Banana sliced into 3 inch chunks

Directions:

Microwave dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Skewer banana slices and dunk into chocolate. Then roll in walnuts, lay on parchment paper and toss in the freezer to firm up.

  • Goat Cheese Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients:

    1. Small organic peppers
    2. Goat cheese

Directions:

Hollow out small organic peppers and stuff them with some goat cheese!
