About our Studio
TriFit is a boutique fitness studio that was founded in 2005. What makes our studio a staple in the Central Phoenix community for close to two decades? We believe that comes down to three main factors:
- Personalized coaching and hands on guidance
- Comprehensive training and holistic nutrition programs
- Welcoming, unpretentious atmosphere & diverse community of people
If you weren’t a high school or college athlete, or you weren’t born into a family who prepared healthy meals, chances are that you feel a little lost in the gym (and the kitchen). Every day we hear similar stories and struggles from our new clients who want to get healthy, but aren’t able to find a program that helps them reach their goals.

The “Tri” in TriFit Wellness, originated from the “three planes of motion” and is the philosophy behind our training programs. This functional training approach helps our clients improve their movement patterns, range of motion, function, and even reduce injury.
The “Wellness” part of our name encompasses our holistic approach to health. True “wellness” includes so much more than your training at the gym – Indeed it includes moving your body, but also your sleep patterns, nutrition, relationships, mental health and the joy you experience in your life.

MEET THE TRIFIT TEAM
Alex is a Certified Personal Trainer who grew up in Scranton, PA. He received his BS in Biology from Norfolk State University and his MS in Plant Pathology at Penn State. Throughout his undergraduate training, Alex had a loved for athletics and played college baseball. Alex moved to Tucson, AZ in the spring where he worked in lab sciences for the USDA. However, his love for big cities and good restaurants has called him to Phoenix, and his passion for fitness and personal training has brought him to TriFit. Alex’s goal is to bring enthusiasm and positivity to his clients and to encourage them to reach their goals and become the best version of themselves. In his free time Alex enjoys gaming, working out, and traveling. His favorite food is Greek food, although he is still trying to master the pronunciation of “gyro”. 😊
A former corporate executive, turned gym owner, Laurel has always been deeply passionate about helping people. She believes that people are happiest when they are growing and working on becoming the best version of themselves. Laurel is an eternal optimist, and strives to create an atmosphere and culture at TriFit that is welcoming, supportive and fun. Laurel has a B.A. in Communications and Marketing from ASU and lives in Scottsdale with her husband, Andy and their 6-year-old daughter, London. In her free time she loves to lift weights, play guitar, and snowboard.
As a NASM certified personal trainer with his B.S. in Kinesiology from ASU, Steven’s passion for the human body is demonstrated, not just through his work but all areas of his life. He is dedicated to healing those around him by showing them the benefits received through exercise. Whether it’s overcoming an injury or preventative action, he is constantly studying the latest and greatest. He is inspired daily by seeing his clients do things they never thought they could do. In his free time he can be found training, outdoors, and spending time with his wife Lexi and their poodle, Jasper.
Mallori Dzurka is a passionate and skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) specializing in functional and integrative nutrition. With a talent for connecting with patients on a personal level, Mallori excels in behavior modification, curriculum development, medical nutrition therapy, and weight management.
Mallori holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Central Michigan University. When she’s not helping others achieve their health goals, she is watching sports, riding her side-by-side in the great outdoors in Michigan, and experimenting with new, healthy recipes in the kitchen!
Erin is the Studio Manager at Trifit Wellness. She brings with her experience in operations, finance and accounting, health and nutrition, as well as leadership and coaching. She has been a lifelong athlete and fitness enthusiast and strongly believes that nutrition, as well as gut health, play an incredible part in our overall well-being. Nothing brings her more joy than to watch others succeed and to help in that journey.
IN HER FREE TIME, SHE ENJOYS GETTING OUTSIDE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO HIKE, CAMP, AND EXPLORE. SHE IS ALSO PASSIONATE ABOUT LEARNING ANYTHING TO HELP IMPROVE HERSELF PERSONALLY AND TO EXPAND LONGEVITY AND OVERALL HEALTH.
JESS RECENTLY GRADUATED FROM MISSOURI STATE WITH A DEGREE IN HOSPITALITY AND BUSINESS! IN HER FREE TIME, SHE CAN BE FOUND HIKING, ROCK CLIMBING, SWIMMING, AND COOKING/EXPLORING NEW FOODS. SHE IS SUPER PASSIONATE ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS AND REACH THE BEST VERSIONS OF THEMSELVES, BECAUSE SHE IS ALWAYS WORKING ON THE SAME MISSION FOR HERSELF. SHE’S ALWAYS WILLING TO MAKE NEW FRIENDS AND EXPERIENCE NEW ADVENTURES, IT’S WHAT SHE LIVES FOR! SHE IS EXCITED TO CONTINUE TO BE SURROUNDED BY PEOPLE WITH THE SAME VALUES AS HER, SO LET’S ALL REACH SOME MILESTONES TOGETHER!!
Kayleigh has been coaching/training for the past for a handful of years. She has always been interested in helping others achieve their goals. Kayleigh loves being able to motivate and assist others to a healthier lifestyle and helping others feel and move great is exciting to her. She played a variety of different sports growing up which led her to play college basketball in Oklahoma while working toward her Bachelor’s degree.
In her free time, she loves to workout, coach basketball and hike/ paddle board.
