Mindfulness is not a class you take, it’s a philosophy you live by. Start being more present right now by taking at least two 5-to-10 minute breaks where you untether yourself from your cell phone, the news, obligations and the pressure of your daily life. Take ten deep belly breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth. This will help you restore and reconnect with your body. To supplement your training and find your “zen”, we recommend guided meditation, deep breathing exercises and yoga.
