You deserve to work with an expert. We thoroughly vet our personal trainers through an extensive interview process to ensure they are experts in their craft, and that they have a genuine desire to help improve your life! Our trainers certified in NASM, ACE or NSCA, and ACSM. Some have 4 year degrees in Kinesiology or Exercise Physiology, and have a backgrounds in physical therapy to help prevent injuries while exercising.

Ellen
A client for ten years at TriFIT, Ellen loved our people so much that she joined as an ACE Certified Trainer. Why does she love what she does? Helping people work towards their goals and feel better about themselves. When she’s not running or working on her upper body strength, Ellen can be found hiking, walking her dogs, or teaching Science to elementary school children.
David
David
David cares for the people he trains with his heart and soul. As an Ace Certified Trainer and Licensed Massage Therapist, he brings decades of experience in wellness to our team. He is currently working on a certification as a Fitness Nutrition Specialist and is an experienced practitioner in Reiki and Qi Gong. This native Phoenician loves working out his core with free weights, cooking, and meditating.

As a Certified Trainer and a NASM Nutrition Specialist, Lizzie is a pro when it comes to merging the worlds of physical fitness and nutritional health. A former marathon runner, once Lizzie entered the world of weight training she never looked back. There’s nothing better for her than to be someone’s fitness inspiration. When she’s not helping people train, she’s travelling, shopping, and taking care of herself.

A former corporate executive, turned gym owner, Laurel has always been deeply passionate about helping people. Her love for both human-kind, and for fitness make owning TriFIT her true “dream job”. Laurel is an eternal optimist, and strives to create an atmosphere and culture at TriFIT that is welcoming, supportive and fun.

Steven
As a NASM certified personal trainer and a student of Kinesiology at ASU, Steven’s passion for the human body is demonstrated, not just through his work but all areas of his life. He is dedicated to healing those around him by showing them the benefits received through exercise. Whether it’s overcoming an injury or preventative action, he is constantly studying the latest and greatest. For Steven, this is not just a career choice, but a lifestyle.
Iliana
Iliana
Iliana has always been a “tomboy” and an athlete since she was a small child. Iliana has her degree in Kinesiology from Arizona State University, and spent three years working with a Physical Therapist. Not only does she have a great understanding of how the body works, but she knows how to get results safely and effectively for her clients. In her free time Iliana loves to cook, read and work on her own fitness!

Nick
Nick recently relocated to Phoenix from New York City where he worked at an elite private training facility in New York City. He specializes in group fitness, and enjoys creating performance based workouts that are both unique and challenging. Nick is a certified personal trainer, as well as a certified functional strength coach, with over 20 years of experience as a premier and collegiate soccer player. On a personal note, Nick enjoys musical theater, history and someday hopes to break the world record in “one handed clapping!”
Julie
Julie
Julie is a self proclaimed “spark plug”, and the General Manager at TriFIT. She is an expert in operations and human resources with over 20 years experience working for start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. Julie is passionate about building things in a team setting, and loves supporting the TriFIT trainers and members. Julie’s favorite place on earth is Egypt Beach, and she is “mom” to her two French Bulldogs, Liza and Beau.
Craig
Craig
Craig is originally from Colorado, and has vast experience in performance based athletic training, as well as rehabilitation at a physical therapy clinic. Craig holds a B.S in Exercise Physiology and a CPT certification through NSCA. When he’s not training clients, Craig enjoys being outdoors doing just about anything!

Great fitness studio in Phoenix! I love the trainers there. I personally prefer the small group fitness workouts. They also do one-on-ones and classes. Workouts are challenging!

I keep going back to this gym, because I feel like I am getting results and I am comfortable with the staff. I have trained with every one of the trainers and I like them all. They do a great job of listening to what I want out of my workout and make sure to hit the target areas that are important to me.
